Here is an overview of my career in computer software.
I have a long history with Clipper and Visual Objects, so here are links to many Clipper and Visual Objects resources.
I am currently Director, WebFOCUS Product Support at Information Builders in the heart of mid-town Manhattan. You can reach me there at (917) 339-5285 or Larry_Eiss@ibi.com. I also run AOL Instant Messenger during the day. My ID at the office is EissManIBI. Feel free to say "Hello."
My father, Arthur George Eiss, used to read to us a lot when we were kids. By far, my favorite story was a lyrical poem of sorts that was published in a very old text book called The Peerless Reciter. The title of the piece was Ye Olde Tyme Tayle of Ye Knighte, Ye Yeoman, and Ye Faire Damosel. Have a read and see if you like it too.
I believe that the copyright on this may have expired, leaving the works it contains in the public domain. I am slowly researching that. If, however, you know this to be untrue, please let me know and I will remove the writing from this site.
To email an Eiss family member, choose their name in the drop-down menu, type your message, and press "Send". Don't forget to include your e-mail address in the body so we can respond!
And then there are the dogs...
